Dr Arlewatyerre Tuhoro-Bell

Arlewatyerre is a multi-disciplinary creative and researcher with twenty years of experience. They have worked as a filmmaker, writer, cinematographer, tenured research academic, programmer, consultant and teacher professional development provider. With a research background in cultural studies, Marxism and Indigenous Studies, A brings creative, technical, research and teaching skills to the ursa.nz team as a creative co-conspirator.

One of A's current fascinations is digital sovereignty for Indigenous collectives. They've moved the ursa.nz stack to sovereign digital architecture and are looking at sustainable use of digital technologies that fit with Indigenous ontology.
